New Space Wolves: Out now

Space Wolves are out tomorrow. And I'm particularly excited about the Space Wolves Pack set. There's so much on the frame! Not only can you make 10 complete Space Wolves models, but you'll also have enough parts left over to make any other Space Marine set look suitably wolfy.

Phil Kelly wrote the new Codex: Space Wolves and is himself an avid Space Wolves player. I was going to show you his newly-painted Space Wolves army, but in typical Fenrisian fashion he's wont let me unless I can match him ale for ale in Bugman's bar. So depending on tonight, I might have some more of Phil's army to show you next week, and perhaps even his army list.

For now though, here's a look at Phil's Wolf Lord and Long Fang unit:

Phil's plundered the Space Wolves Wolf Guard set to make his Wolf Lord. He figured that a Wolf Lord would be the first to get stuck into the foe and posed his model to suggest dynamic, forward motion. The huge wolf pelt draped over the model's shoulder uses both the one from the Space Wolves Wolf Guard set and the one from the Space Wolves Pack set - Phil blended the two together using Green Stuff.
